The Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University is pleased to offer several GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) fellowships. These prestigious
awards are funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and will enable students from traditionally underrepresented groups to pursue the PhD.
The Chemistry Department offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere in which to conduct cutting edge research in both traditional and interdisciplinary areas of chemistry.

- Provide evidence of financial need by submitting a FAFSA. You can complete the FAFSA online at:http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
- For full consideration, all components of the GAANN fellowship application must be complete byMarch 1st, 2017.
