Berkeley Edge Conference 2015

The annual Berkeley Edge Conference brings *underrepresented students who are competitively eligible for our Ph.D. programs to the Berkeley campus. The conference introduces prospective students to faculty in the science, mathematics, and engineering departments. It offers students the opportunity to tour campus research facilities and national laboratories. It provides pragmatic advice about Berkeley’s graduate program application process and the process for winning fellowships. The 2015 conference will be held November 5 – 8, 2015 at the University of California, Berkeley. For further information, please contact us at

Eligibility – Academic majors in Physics, Math/Applied Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Chemical and Bio-Molecular Engineering, Electrical Engineering-Computer Science, Geophysics, Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Geology with a Ph.D. goal. Minimum GPA of 3.2 and currently in good academic standing. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. The Nomination/Application Process – Faculty, research scientists and mentors must complete the online Berkeley Edge Conference Recommendation form located on this page.
